Parallel Realities have been creating games since 1993. They started off writing games on the Amiga using AMOS and then, later, Blitz Basic 2. Games written included the BOTSS Trilogy and most notably TANX Squadron. TANX Squadron was awarded Amiga Format's contributor prize of the month in the summer of 1999.
Project: Starfighter was Parallel Realities' first contribution to the Linux gaming scene and was well recieved when it was released in 2003. This was followed by the release of Metal Blob Solid in December 2005 and the follow-up Blob and Conquer in 2007.
The Legend of Edgar was released in 2009, with Blob Wars : Attrition, made for Android, arriving in 2014 (ported to desktops in 2018). The Pandoran War, a video game set in the Battle for the Solar System universe, was developed in 2015. The latest game, Three Guys (3 Guys for the desktop port), was released in 2016.
The "Alien Device" graphic that accompanies most of our games comes from TANX Squadron. It was the insignia of the alien invaders who had decended onto Earth. It has since become the insignia of Parallel Realities.
