Downloads
To download a file click on the filename. Remember to only download the file that
matches your operating system. Installation Simply place the JAR file and lib directory into a suitable directory. For example, /home/user/xmamegui/. Configuration data is saved to ~/.parallelrealities/xmamegui/ Running These instructions assume that you have Java set up in your path. If not, please refer to the Java homepage to see how to do this. Open a terminal window and type the following, java -jar <installdir>/xmamegui-0.9-1.jarWhere installdir is the directory in which you have placed the JAR file. For example java -jar /home/user/xmame/xmamegui-0.9-1.jar Now, this all must seem like a bit of a mouthful, considering the point of wanting to get away from typing a whole load of commands and parameters to run xmame. Luckily, you can easily set up a desktop icon that will execute the line above (with your changes, of course). Once this is done, you can simply double click the desktop icon to launch XMAME GUI. In the event of updates, just copy over the original JAR file and carry on.FAQ
