Virus Killer runs in 800x600.

When exactly is the problem?

No deb package, no updates in years, 800x600... really? Probably too old to play on newer Linuxes anyway...

I could try and build one later, but, like you said, I've not updated that game in ages and wouldn't be actively supporting it.

I guess if you wanted you could always run alien on the RPM and create a deb that way? (that's probably what I'm going to be doing later, anyway!)

Virus Killer now also supports online medals!

Plus, there are Deb packages available.

It doesn't work on windows! WHY??!

How exactly does it "not work"? Does it crash? Does it fail to load? Is there no sound?

Are you updating most of the older games? And, Congratulations on getting the nomination for Blob and Conquer!

I absolutely love this game. It is one of those games where once you start playing time disappears. You feel like you've played for 20 minutes then realize it's been four hours. Definitely one of my all-time favorites.

How do you unlock nightmare mode????

Steve
May 2nd, 2010 at 08:27

@Slimesy - You unlock Nightmare Mode by playing on Hard. You need to win 50 rounds to get it

Don't worry - you don't have to do it in one sitting; the game will save your progress. If you get to Round 5 ten times, then that'll unlock it.

Ultimate Nightmare Mode is unlocked in a similar fashion, but you have to pass 100 rounds on Hard, instead.
