 Introduction

JGameLaunch is a game launcher written in Java. It aims to remove the somewhat tedious task of running games from a terminal prompt and has other little neat touches like the ability to play a random game from the list!

 News and Updates

9th Janaury 2005 - First version is available for download. Although this version will work with Java 1.4 future versions will only work with Java 1.5 and above.

 Version Watch

It's written in Java. It doesn't require platform specific ports.

 Features

  • Allows for games to be run through a simple interface.
  • Add / Edit feature with genre list.
  • Records number of plays and last play date.
  • Random Game feature where the launcher will launch a random game.
  • Can be setup to run a game server in the background.
